The world is full of questions. Go investigate them.
Code the Wild turns everyday mysteries into short, interactive science missions. Make predictions, investigate the world around you, discover how biology, chemistry, and physics connect, and use simple code to model what you find.
No prior coding experience needed. Just bring your curiosity.
Start ExploringAt Code the Wild, we believe students should have the opportunity to explore advanced scientific ideas and computational thinking earlier.
Biology, chemistry, physics, and computer science are often taught as separate subjects, and coding is still rarely integrated into everyday science education. Yet computation, data, and artificial intelligence are becoming increasingly important across nearly every field. Our goal is to help students build that foundation early.
Through short, interactive science missions, students explore molecular-level science while discovering how different disciplines work together to explain the world around them. Each mission ends with a simple coding activity, helping students see computation not just as a subject to learn, but as a tool for investigating scientific questions.
We hope Code the Wild helps students become more curious, more confident with technology, and better prepared to explore and contribute to the science of the future.
Each 25–50 minute mission begins with a real-world question.
Start with something you can see in everyday life.
Make a hypothesis before learning the answer.
Follow the evidence into biology, chemistry, and physics.
See how different areas of science work together to explain one phenomenon.
Use a simple computational model to explore the science you just discovered.
Zoom into matter and discover atoms, elements, and ions.
Mission 2Explore cells, enzymes, chemical reactions, oxidation, and pH.
Mission 3Connect light, photons, photosynthesis, plant cells, and growth.
